We understand the pressures of delivering for the business while balancing the needs of your people.
We know the tension between resource, budget and urgency, the gap between what we think leadership should be and what it actually often is. That’s why we're driven to help organizations build healthier, more effective ways of working though our workshops, capability training and consultancy.
Our approach is grounded in the idea that business performance, leadership and personal well-being are inseparable. We teach leaders and teams how to strengthen mental fitness, build mental emotional agility, and communicate in ways that drive real results. Because strategy only works when people are equipped to deliver it—and we’re here to make sure they are.

Meet Jodie Rogers
Jodie Rogers founded Symbia after what she calls a ‘mid life awakening’ in her mid 30s.
After graduating in Psychology and interpersonal communications she fell into her first career in quantitative consumer research before discovering her passion for qualitative research. She worked agency side for many years, before transitioning to clientside as a consumer and market insights professional. All in the pursuit of getting closer to be able to influence change.
It was when living and working in Brazil in 2009 that she had her awakening - that all the brand strategy and media spend in the world was worthless if you didn’t have leaders and teams motivated and focused to make a difference. She’d been using her understanding of human behaviour to help brands, but realised she wanted to work with the people behind the brands to really affect change.
That’s the essence of the Symbia origin story, although being Irish there’s more to it, but you’ll have to get the rest of it out of her over a drink. But being Irish, that would be too short a story.
With her combined experience and skills, Jodie can land unspoken truth in a room in a way that is authentic and calls leaders ‘up and in’ to do the hard work of navigating systems, people and culture.
She is the author of 'the Hidden Edge', has spoken on stages in 14 countries, delivered workshops in 29, conducted research in 43, travelled to 72 and lived in 5. Passionate about people, culture and human behavour at the intersection of business, psychology and performance.
